LBL was a brand in search of an identity. It wasn’t luxury brand. It wasn’t a builder brand. It felt a bit out of place. It needed a voice. It needed a style. What it got was a personality different from all of the other brands under the Generation Brands umbrella. The catalog was redesigned to appeal to a younger generation of shopper that liked aspirational images. The ordering information was better organized to provide showrooms and designers quick and easy reference. Then it was fully supported with advertising, brand guidelines, email marketing and a rollout announcement to introduce the new LBL. It was further supported with a smaller supplement the following year.
