The DIY Card is a great example of how it’s possible to take a gift card and make it cross consumer platforms. This card was created to appeal to both DIY’ers as a budgeting tool for small projects, and also as a perfect housewarming gift that goes beyond just giving plastic money. With the design I wanted to appeal to the Pinterest pinners and homeowners who want to finally tackle all those improvement projects, but need a place to start. We were then able to push the message with a landing page on the website and a consumer mailer.
